Fig at Trumper

Trumper Park, Edgecliff
For less than 3km no other city in the world has a bushland so close to the city centre. Not all trees and plants are native to the place and not all free from human interference. As Delia Falconer wrote in her latest book 'Sydney' (published in 2010): "Sydney's remnant bush is not wild; seen close-up, it is a half-and-half, semi-domesticated place, and it is this ambiguous quality that makes it unnerving."
