This picture was taken in 2010. Between 2011 - 2012 there were several cases of trees in the Rocks-Dawes Point-Walsh Bay precinct had been removed by local authorities (either Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority or Sydney City Council depending the location). They were mostly those trees on the cliff edge including this one shown in the picture. These trees in my opinion were visually significant.
