The working hidden in the deep

The last remaining patches of industrial & marine facilities that still retain the Sydney Harbour's status as working harbour.

Many waterfront edges along the cities around the world are increasingly redeveloped into places served for recreational, retail and tourism which are the core activities of the major cities nowadays. The change in land use reflects the older activities such as trading, fishing, military, heavy industries and manufacturing no longer connect to activities in the city of 21 Century, which are primarily tourism, retail, recreational, residential and finance.
